At the September Graduation Ceremony, Yichi Zhang (Department of Economics) was selected as the Representative of Graduating Students, and Kouta Suzuki (Department of Global Studies) was selected as the Vice Representative of Graduating Students.

As the SPSF Representative of Graduating Students, Yichi received his diploma from the President of Sophia University and delivered the Address of Thanks on behalf of the graduating class. Kouta joined him on stage as Vice Representative and assisted in representing the graduates during the ceremony.

Reflecting on his time in the SPSF Program, Yichi shared the following message:
“SPSF gave me great professors, great friends, and more wonderful memories than I could ever count. I’m truly grateful for my time here, and I hope future students enjoy every moment. These four years go by much faster than you think.”

Kouta also reflected on his SPSF experience:
“During my undergraduate at Sophia University’s SPSF Program, I was able to grow academically and establish interests across vast areas of international relations. Given the motivation SPSF instilled in me, I was able to translate my interests to internships and my job. The professors and colleagues I made connections with gave me the foundational confidence to take on real-world challenges.”

The SPSF Office warmly congratulates Yichi and Kouta on their achievements and thanks them for representing SPSF and the graduating class at this important occasion. We wish them both continued success and happiness in their future endeavors.
