Professor Hideki Maruyama (SPSF) and Professor Mikiko Sugiura (Graduate School of Global Studies), both faculty members at Sophia University, have co-authored a chapter in Introducing the UN SDGs in Higher Education Institutions. The chapter, “Global Education and Sustainability in Japanese Universities: A Case Study of Sophia University,” explores how sustainability and global education can be integrated across university curricula, operations, and student activities, using Sophia University as a model case.
